the castle — vineyards, park
AND Rock'n'Roll
Located in a medieval castle near Stuttgart, Germany, surrounded by some of germany’s finest vineyards and a private park with trees as old as 300 years.

1272 was the year in which the construction of the castle was finally finished. Instead of building a “perfect” studio in a few rooms, the idea was something else:

Ever wanted to record...
...guitar in an 800 year old
courtyard?

...vocals in a spiral stairway with incredible natural reverb?

...drums in a 8-wall- wooden Pavillon built for Napoleon’s son (yes, THAT Napoleon…)?
...some Piano-Riffs on Richard Wagner’s 1875 Steinway Grand?

Though in a rural setting, it is just a 35 min drive to Stuttgart and 45 minutes to the international Airport STR. Frankfurt Airport is very close (90 minutes drive), too.

Schaubeck castle also happens to be the homebase of one of Germanys most renowned wineries – Weingut Graf Adelmann.
With over 720 years of experience in winemaking, you can enjoy fantastic wines, grown organically in close proximity to the castle. Made by enthusiastic music fans!
